MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicle Pvt Ltd, the sole authorised distributor of Foton Motor Group in Nepal, has announced the arrival of Foton's electric cargo van in the Nepalese market.According to the company, the battery capacity of this electric cargo van is 50.23 kWh with a range of up to 235 km on a single charge. Similarly, it delivers 290 Nm of torque. The electric cargo van has a cargo bay of 7 cubic meter space and a load-carrying ability of 1150 kg. As per the company, Foton's multi-purpose electric cargo vans are suitable for various businesses such as department stores, e-commerce, pharmacy, hardware, cargo courier, telecommunications provider, etc.According to MAW Vriddhi, the latest market data also shows that consumers are paying close attention to electric vehicles as they are both beneficial for the environment and public health. International studies have shown that the cost of operating an electric vehicle is lower than that of a diesel when the power supply is comfortable.China is far ahead of other nations in producing lithium-powered electric buses, cars, motorcycles, scooters and more. Chinese manufacturers, which have a large number of products, are exporting a large number of vehicles and batteries to the world market at reasonable prices on demand.
